At least 35 people were injured on Saturday when communal clashes broke out in Rajasthan’s Karauli district during a motorcycle rally to mark the Hindu new year. Stones were pelted at those participating in the motorcycle rally when they were crossing a Muslim-dominated locality, as per the police. Arson and vandalism were also witnessed during the rally last weekend. A curfew was imposed in the district following the clashes and mobile internet was also suspended.
