...Re thinking privet...Not a flowery post, but so many people dismiss privet as a boring monochrome hedge, never changing from its solid block of green all year round. Compare and contrast my neat neighbour with my more 'relaxed' style. Just don't cut it, instead watch it sway and dance in the wind.As well as bringing movement into a garden it is tough as old boots, grows fast to provide shelter to more delicate plants and makes great cut foliage.
